To all upcoming artists. Remember this.
This game come with a price. I know it seems like it’s all glamorous. I used to think so. What they don’t tell you is what lies beneath the surface. One thing I learned that nobody ever told me, as long as your trying to figure it out and find your own way then everyone will love you. Once your start making noise and gaining traction and making money & accomplishing your wildest dreams, HELL will knock on your front door. Most Family will turn on you, people u called friends will feel entitled, everyone will feel like you owe them something. You will become a target. People who never passed CDs out with you in the freezing cold will feel like you need to put them on. Some will do any and everything to see you fall. People you never met a day in your life will feel like they knew you because they seen you once or twice.
People you assume your still cool with & maybe even have love for, will be the ones to say outlandish things about you on or off social media. You are considered a sell out from the moment you gain success and you don’t give EVERYBODY EVERYTHING you worked hard and earned.There’s no possible way to please everyone.Somebody somehow someway will be upset.

Your DMs will be flooded from fans who love you and you will miss messages from people you grew up with. Those people won’t understand you actually didn’t see the messages and it’s a misunderstanding but at that point it’s too late. They already assumed your “Hollywood” and your too good for them and they will jump out the window and 💩 on you before you can even talk to them. If you share someone’s music on your page because you wanna show love, be prepared to embrace the can of worms you opened. Because now if you don’t share EVERYBODYS music then your hating and you have just adopted those problems now. Lol I can keep going. If you share someone’s music once, be prepared to share everything they release because if you don’t then your not real and your scared they will blow up and be more successful than you. If they offer you money to share their music on your social platforms that you built and you don’t want to take their money because it doesn’t feel right to charge people your cool with & you don’t want your page to become WORLDSTARHIPHOP, then be prepared to be called a hater and cock blocker because your afraid there gonna blow up quicker than you. Smh. If you sign a deal and put your mother first and take care of her, be prepared for majority of your family to start trashing your mother too because now your mom thinks she’s the 💩 because she don’t have to work anymore and she thinks she’s better than everyone else. Lol I can’t make this up.

If you graduate from a whoopty to the dream car of your choice , be prepared for people to say the car isn’t yours and it’s rented and your really broke but you act like you got money. Be prepared for people who you DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT, start accusing you of being the reason they aren’t successful. Before you know it everyone will start counting your pockets. People you let borrow money will be telling you they don’t owe you money anymore because your rich now and you made it. Be prepared for people you once dated start making up stories about you to make themselves look good. If your nice enuff to give ANY money away to any charitable cause, be prepared for people to say how much money you SHOULD of gave because you didn’t give enuff. If you paid for a funeral or 2 for a complete stranger you never met, you should pay for everyone’s funeral now because you got it.

Lol it’s not even funny it’s actually sad but I can keep going. If your doing a interview and you are asked the question “who’s your favorite up and a coming artist right now?”, And you don’t mention there name!!!!!????, smh you just fucked up. Be prepared to be called a cock blocker and you don’t want anybody to shine. Even if you try to reach out to the person and let them know it’s all love and explain yourself, be prepared for that person to record your conversation for social media purposes and clout. Be prepared for the most bitches of Bitch niggaz to slander your name on social media because if you respond it’s a win win. They get a reaction and clout for you acknowledging them but if you don’t react or respond then you literally just have to let them make you look crazy and not adress it. if you go to the store looking crazy because you just woke up and you run into a fan and they ask for a picture,, please take the picture. Even if your looking crazy and fucked up and you just rolled out of bed and you KNOW this pic is going up on social media. Don’t even politely say no. Why??? Lol because god forbid you say no to 1 picture for whatever reason,, your forever a asshole and you changed and your arrogant and rude. If your at the hospital because your uncle just had a heart attack, smh (true story)... and a valet worker pulls his camera out and comes up to u & starts recording you on snap while your grieving and he don’t even ask permission, please don’t be offended. Don’t tell him to put the camera down and have some respect. Take a picture with him.

Even in the hospital while your grieving and your uncle is dying. Why?? Because this is what you signed up for right? Why should you be upset or offended at anything I said?.. your not human anymore. Be prepared...... i can keep going bruh. 🤦🏽‍♂️ if this is what you want,, just remember it comes with a lot of responsibility. More money more problems... my mom be afraid for my life. She seen how jealousy and envy can turn into a XXX & NIPSEY situation. After a while you distance yourself because its best. I won’t say I haven’t made mistakes. That will be a lie. I’ve made plenty mistakes. It’s easy for people to say what they WOULD do if they was on. A lot of you niggaz aren’t built for this 💩 and will fold. If you ever make it to the top,,, i guarantee you will feel that heat from HELL knocking on your front door. Good luck if your built for it.
